EJIW Foundry
Established in 1883, this facility has seen numerous upgrades and reinvestment to achieve twenty-first century performance. Located in East Jordan, Michigan, the foundry's major product lines include manhole frames and utility covers, airport castings, drainage products, Trench Grates, hydrant and valve components, and industrial castings.
EJIW - Ardmore Foundry
Located in Ardmore, Oklahoma, this new state-of-the art facility opened for operation in 2001. Designed as a world-class production facility, the EJIW-Ardmore Foundry is loaded with state-of-the-art equipment. It utilizes the best horizontal parted molding line for the manufacturing of street castings and features the best environmental control technology available. Product lines at this foundry include manhole covers and frames, utility covers, drainage grates, light iron components, tree grates and trench grating.
Fabricated Metal Products
EJIW operates a modern fabrication facility in Youngstown, Ohio. Our fabricated products include metal adjusting rings, specialty products for adjusting manhole structures to grade, metal hatch assemblies, and steel frames, grates and covers. Our INFRA-RISER® Rubber Composite Adjustment Risers are also manufactured in Youngstown.
Hydrant and Valve
Since 1928, East Jordan Iron Works has manufactured fire hydrants and valves for municipal water systems. The
H & V operation moved to a new state-of-the-art facility in 1998. Located in East Jordan, Michigan, this facility features modern machine tools, special coating facilities, an automated assembly and testing area for fire hydrants and valves. Additionally, all hydrants and valves are pressure tested at the facility according to the American Water Works Association (AWWA) and UL specifications to assure excellent performance.
