DURALAST® Detectable Warning System

EJIW’s DURALAST® Detectable Warning system is made from durable cast iron and designed to withstand rigorous urban conditions. Cast iron is inherently resistant to corrosion from elements, lasting for many years without further maintenance. Our warning tiles are cast with a slip resistant surface and the natural iron visually contrasts with the adjoining walkway.

EJIW's tactile warning surface is ideal for newly constructed pedestrian ramps. In addition, they can be retrofitted into older curb ramps by cutting out the existing concrete. Installation is quick and easy. The tiles are set into newly poured concrete and are mechanically secured ensuring a strong bond attachment over the life of the sidewalk. Work can be performed by curb and gutter, sidewalk and flat work contractors without any special training.
